Hope the weather holds

Me too, -pops-.

It's all in the lap of the gods though.

I will be happy if the weather is fine.

It doesn't need to be wall to wall sunshine, but naturally it would be nice. Low winds and minimal precipitation would suffice. :good:

Wednesday -

That weather doesn't look too clever down in Cornwall..........What with the water from the sky and sitting in a boat on the water - I hope they haven't drowned.

Not too good at present, but from the weekend onwards it's looking much better.

We are both suffering with repeat colds - second time around. It has been a particularly agressive virus. Hopefully we will both be feeling better when the weather improves after tomorrow.

This is a photo taken from our apartment balcony, late afternoon after the persistent rain on Monday (Bank Holiday)...

Well, we're not doing much boating; and it's nothing to do with the weather!

We have both had a repeat of coughs and colds since Easter. Mine has targeted my lungs and Mike's has been more of a head cold. This virus has been particularly agressive. I think I was the first, picking it up from the office.

However, Mike has now acquired a condition which is extremely unpleasant for him and potentially quite serious - it is called Nasal Cellulitis - http://medical-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/cellulitis. He registered with the local Surgery here in Falmouth on Tuesday and saw a Doctor yesterday, who diagnosed the problem. He told us that it was very fortunate that Mike had attended at that time because of the potential implications if left untreated. He is now on a cocktail of medication, so we are hoping that it will subside in the shortest posssible time. The alternatives are unthinkable!

Sorry to read that both you and Mike have not being having an easy time of things, especieally unable to enjoy your boating and Mike going down with what reads from your link as really something serious. I do hope you both get well soon and can put this behind you and go on to enjoy your boating in the future.

Thinking of you both with better wether ahead for you.
