daniharvey Posted February 8, 2015 Report Share Posted February 8, 2015 To anyone who hasn't seen my messages yet, my Grandpa, Doug (x), had a heartache while driving this Tuesday and died. The whole family is in great shock. Grandma, who Grandpa often referred to as Herself on here, will be staying in their house with a new care team, until she decides on a pleasing care home to move into. I'll be saying a short speech at his funeral later this week. Any messages you wish to pass on to her, or the rest of the family, please let me know. When you get a lot of older types frequenting a forum you have your suspicions when regulars drop away, always a shock when your fears are confirmed.Give our condolences to the rest of his family, I think I speak for us all when I say he will be missed. So difficult to believe it when a friend passes away. :( John has been a prominent figure here on the forum, always making a difference.Please pass on our sincere condolances to your family, John will be very sadly missed by us all.
