Gandalph
Look's like it's just seen a ghost.
catgate
I thought it was waiting for someone to come and answer the door.
Gandalph
Looking at it, I don't think it is stuffed at all. I think it is a bad model. The mouth and eye's do not look to be in the right places. They are out of perspective.
Belatucadrus
Looking at the teeth I suspect it's a stuffed Greenland shark, a bit of an oddball in the shark world. The eye is in the right place but it's very wrong in size colour and shape.
Gandalph
True. That is why I think it's a model gone wrong.
Belatucadrus
Don't forget in taxidermy the preserved skin is fitted over a former and then artificial eyes are added. Take somebody who didn't really know what the original was like making the former and a taxidermist with a box of glass eyes taking a shot at what it would have looked like. In their defence the Greenland sharks eye is weird apparently most of them are nearly blind and have a parasitic copepod crustacean hanging off it. As they live deep in the gloom of arctic waters this doesn't seem to bother them. Not something your below average critter stuffer will have in his/her box of bits.
