Belatucadrus
Before anybody says it, yes it is Photoshopped. Rather badly.

Gandalph
I think what catgate was meaning to say was Trumpet.
Belatucadrus
It's a matter of perspective, the violin is closer than the player making her look very very small. Either that or the wood swelled up when it got soaked in sea water. Silly sods should have drilled a couple of drain holes in it.
catgate
When I first started Grammar School (during the war) I was adjudicated, by the music master, to be the right size to play the "Double Base" as it was called. As a result I was "allowed" to play the Double Base in the schools orchestra. I was "allowed" to stay in school after the bell had rung every Wednesday and have tuition and more tuition, until, after going on a year or so, I had demonstrated to him, without words, just how futile it all was and how inept I was at dragging music out of anything. He was, as far as school teachers go, quite human and I was released. If one failed to accept anything a visit to the "head's study" was the usual result. Gandalph
I can play hell, but the instrument seems to have died out of Orchestra's lately for some reason and has become redundant.
