The size of the wheels is irrelevant. the centre of gravity is measured from the road and not the axle.  Where size matters on a bike is potholes - small wheels are a serious problem for obvious reasons.

In my yoof I used to race an AJS 7R 350cc motor bike - followed by a Wooler 500 cc flat four shaft drive all aluminium semi streamline beast. My first wife's pregnancy brought my bike riding days to an end - I was concerned that I was sure to have one accident too many and was 'required' to get rid of the bike and buy a car.

Motor bikes run in my genes - my grandfather and father were great fans. However - I have not ridden one since about 1962 with one exception. In about 1975 a cousin visited on a 250 cc Honda and let me have a go. The difference 20 years had made to the power, handling and comfort was startling. The 250 Honda would have easily thrashed my previous bikes and I was almost scared of it.
