"I'll 'Bang' (put) an appointment on for Thursday". I've got a bolt that will not budge, Have you "Banged" some grease on it, or WD40. As I mentioned, it is a localism, but you have to be very careful where you place the word in your conversations or you could end up enjoying Hospital Food.
