Boris
After their recent poor run of non-goalscoring form, Liverpool have just signed a new centre forward from Kabul United FC.Apparently today on his first day, at the training session, Gerard Houllier picked up a practice ball, held it in his left hand, pointed his finger at it and very clearly and distinctly spoke, saying "BALL". Then he walked over to the nearest goalmouth, pointed at the rear of the net and said "GOAL". Next he walked back 10 feet and dropped the ball.He then drew his leg back and demonstrated a kicking motion towards the ball.He said "KICK"."UNDERSTAND ?""YOU ..... KICK .... BALL !"."KICK ..... BALL ..... gives .... GOAL ?""UNDERSTAND ?""GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLL !" The new Afghan striker was a little puzzled by this but said nothing.Later on as he was getting changed at the end of the session he eventually summed up enough courage to walk up to Gerard. He politely said to him, "Excuse me, Mr. Houllier, you may not be aware of this, but I actually speak very good English." To which Gerard replied, "Alright son !""I know !""I was talking to Heskey !"

Except his own, defending or picking himself off of the floor of course. And as a final plea, please could we all refrain from using swear words on this forumEspecially ones like "Manchester United"!!!!!! madboy33
Backwards liveDi am sorry to have to post this but Liverpool have not won a championship since 1990, when people/teams dwell on the past it usually means there future looks bleakNow if you look at Aresnal..........lolLeague champions last year, going to win Champions League and Premiership this year, also i forgot FA cup winners as well last yearLiverpool may have had the pedigree and hunger a few years ago, but not nowlets face a new era is here and Arsenal are that eramadboy33

Guest LB
Madboy, sadly, i have to agree with you. Forget all of the good natured and well meant humour, for the forseeable future things at the once mighty fortress of anfield do look bleak. There was a time when Birmingham would have been quaking in their boots at the thought of facing liverpool but now it is just an ordinary game to them. I fear that without either a dramatic rethink from GH or a management change things will not get better. I have serious reservations about some of his purchases (bernard diomede, bruno cheyrou, vladimir smicer, El-Hadji Diouf, Salif Diou etc) and the lack of width is blatant for all too see. Domestically, this season, the Ares cannot be wiped (sorry, touched) but put them up against Real Madrid or Barcelona and lets see..........Having said all of that, it would be shameful to pass up the opportunity to slate Man Utd...... artist
Well,ok. Two decent goals for liverpool. But it was like a 22 man team out there. The motto for the game seems to have been - 'pass the ball as quick as you can - to anyone'Sorry, just had to have a little dig. :D
