Ultimate boot CD

Recommended Posts

Hi christmascracker, you need to copy it as an image to the cd, as you have XP there is a simpler method than going through Instant CD & DVD, go to isorecorder site download the isorecorder powertoy, install it you'll then have a r/click option "copy image to cd" very simple using the inbuilt XP burning function.

Funny you should ask that as I usually use Pinnacle and not XP to write to CD.

I've just tried it with some music files and WMP pops up. If I right click on a file and send it to F (my re-writer) nothing happens, I'm sure it did on my other PC just thought this one would be the same.

So I guess the answer to your question is a no :(

Is that why it's not working?

try installing the ISO power toy for xp,you should then be able to right click the ISO file it and select burn image to cd http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

Recording ISO images

Right-click on an ISO file and select "Copy Image to CD". The wizard will open up. The file name should appear in the "File name" edit box. If, for some reason, wizard cannot use currently selected file or CD recorder, an error message will be provided and "Next" button will be disabled.

Press the "Next" button. Recording operation can be terminated by pressing "Cancel". Note that terminating the actual recording operation can take up to several minutes.

When copy is completed, the wizard will display the "Finish" page.

Well, installed the demo and it's brilliant  :D

So, I've bought it too  :)

Hubbys' at the pub, thankfully he left his credit card behind :D :D :D

We men have our uses occasionally :D :D :D

I'll agree with that :)

Thank you anyway, it was your question regarding the XP backup that made me think about Pinnacle.

I hate software that takes over like that
