Sir Radfordin
That may be so but it doesn't make it any more right or normal ;)
Agent Smith
Make it so gigg. How big a Trekie are you? and what series?ABC are considering dumping Enterprise, which I think is a great shame. The series has really progressed and Scott Bakula is starting to really fit the bill. They have a survey you may like to consider herehttp://www.usatoday.com/life/television/save-our-shows.htmLive long and prosper.Mr. M. Guest northamuk
I just couldn't get into "Enterprise" at all.
Agent Smith
Once you got used to the idea that Scott wasn't going to "jump", it actually became quite good. Mind you, I had the same problem when TNG first launched.Patrick Stewart, just has to be one of our most underated actors. I had never heard of him till he was in ST, now I have seen a lot of his work, and he has to rate as one of our finest actors. He surely is due for a knighthood soon (ST aside, his shakespearean stuff is superb).Mr. M.
andsome
The original now appears as a bit naff. Second Generation, DS Nine and Voyager are my favourites. Councillor Troy and Seven of Nine make my toenails curl up with delight.
gigg
I grew up watching the original cant beleive they made so few episodes . I have to say watching it now if difficult . Next gen has to have been the best , I totally agree about Patrick Stewart , what a great actor . DS9 i liked but could never really think of it as startrek if you see what i mean .Voyager good and i think that the music in that was brilliant .Enterprise took a bit of getting used to to start with , but now it is really good , i like the way Archer is much more aggresive than any previous captain . I do find my self watching for continuity things tho .Also my kids are gonna be around when the vulcans come in 2063 !!!Gigg
Damo
Voyager and Next Gen are the only ones I watch, I couldn't get into DS9 or Enterprise.I also agree with Mr Mouse, Patrick Stewart is a very under-rated actor!
djohn
I too like all the Startrek series, all of them. Also agree about Patrick Stewart, excellent actor. Saw him in a mini-series couple of weeks back with Glenn close Forgot the title already but think it was Henry the 8th. Superb!

Chris
I've spent close to £700 so far on Star Trek DVD's...I bought this and i've bought these all 7 seasons. It took me 5 months to watch TNG on DVD and boy was it worth it. Not every episdoe was good but when they were the best. It was worth every penny...A different episode every ummm episode...unless of course it was a a two parter...It was good viewing and the final episode of all the crew around the green gambling table was magical.I'm currently on Season 5, episode 2 of DS9 and am enjoying it. It did take a bit to going to get going... But it is good viewing. Especially with THE DOMINIAN which is the central storyline... I too was a bit unsure of DS9 but now it is good and happy :blush:I had seen Voyager on the Beeb and now it is on DVD well nearly .... http://play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R...19&p=57&c=&g=72The series will not complete on DVD until 2005!!I've seen a few on the Enterprise eps on Channel 4 and they were goood. Just not awake at the right time to see 'em all

lester1
Never used to miss an episode of the original until the re runsNext generation was good video'd any episode that I could! until the re runs then lost interest.DS9 initially thought it a poor imitation but warmed to it and enjoyed, until the re runs.Never got into Enterprise lost the plot perhaps. andsome
:P Nothing beats NEIGHBOURS! :DYou just have to be joking. If there is one thing worse than American or British soap opera, it has to be Aussie soap opera. You must be UNDER 15 years old.

Tankus
Just bought the 1st edition of that DVD Generations magazine (£3.99) .It has the full film of "First contact" , Its got no extras other than the Trailer on it , still fairly cheap for a film ..Magazines a bit on the thin side , a few nice pics and cutaway drawings ,but the text is a bit naff.Don't think Ill bother with the rest (£8.99 for 3 episodes or 1 film )
