Wine from Australia, New Zealand, USA, South Africa, Chile, Spain, with a meal, and if out for the evening a nice pint or several of Traditional MIDLANDS brewed bitter, served from a proper beer engine with a hand pump, none of your keg rubbish please.

What a wonderful drop of the Nectar of the Gods!!

In the Philippines it is so cheap! Actually cheaper than soft Drinks, like Coke! but availale just like Coke! No liciencing Laws, just available!

Johnny Walker Blue label

El Dorado 15 year old rum (made in the country of my birth)

Malibu

J. Wray and Nephew's Coconut rum

As for lager then an ice cold Red Stripe or Stella goes down fine but I will drink just about any lager that's available except the American type... stuff is like water.

Not that I drink to excess MUCH (unless provoked), but I always liked Bombay gin, in a dry, dry martini, and the next morning, just prior to the cerebral hemorrage:

A "Prairie Chicken," which is a little-known Colorado hangover cure. :D consisting of

2 oz. decent tequila in a cocktail glass, into which a raw egg has been cracked (yolk whole). Salt, pepper and Tabasco to taste.

Slurp the whole thing down, and if you survive THAT, your hangover recedes in importance. :D

As far as I'm concerned, anything alcoholic which does not taste of aniseed will do me

But favourites are, Fine Wine (Cheval Blanc, Stags Leap Cask 23), Cask Conditioned Ale (Spitfire, Bishops Finger, Pedigree, Old Speckled Hen), Cognac (Davidoff, XO), Vodka (Stolichnaya), Gin (Bombay Sapphire) plus many many others.

I prefer Tia Lusso to Baileys though. Far more civilised.

Mr. M.
