Personally speaking, abstinence was an impossibility for me and my peer group as teenagers. We thought of virgins as people that needed help. And saying that condoms are to be promoted only for use by 'high risk groups' such as prostitutes and drug abusers is downright irresponsible. You can't trust a single word the man says, except the odd one liner.As for AIDS, it is a serious problem, especially in countries like Africa. I've always been a strong believer that things like this happen for a reason. Think if AIDS didn't exist. Say 1,000,000 people die from it each year. (real numbers here) So if we saved those 1,000,000 people, about 1/4 - 1/3 would die from other causes, thus leaving 750,000 people running around. Now if we had that many more people each year surviving, wouldn't we become grosley over populated, or run out of natural resources, like food, water, etc.I'm not saying that AIDS isn't a bad thing.
