nellie2
It was a terrible day and the world is still reeling from the consequences of what happened. But today is a day to remember the victims and to spare a thought for their families and the people who loved them. expertec
All the TV News channels should observe 24 hours silence.
trackrat
All the TV News channels should observe 24 hours silence. That would be bliss, a day without deaths, famine or disasters.

-pops-
I have this rule that I never switch the TV on during the day. It goes on at 7-00 am for the news and then off until 6-00 pm or later. On that fateful day, something in my mind told me that there had been a happening in the world and I felt an odd compulsion to switch the TV on. This was the exact moment that the second aircraft ploughed into the building. I thought at first it was one of those American "smash 'em up" adventure films and it was some minutes before I realised and could accept it was for real.I was recovering from heart surgery at the time and seeing something like that happening to buildings I had visited many times and eaten in the restaurants there did me no good at all. Scarecrow Man
Almost didn't realize what day it was. Very tragic. It's one of those things that should have never happened.
