Northamuk
Well anyone who has viewed the horrific and BESTIAL videos of their so-called beheadings could well doubt that. I will not post a link because they are so unbelievably BARBARIC that they make your stomach turn.
-pops-
We don't even have to view the images. Just knowing about the act itself and their obvious pride in doing it is sufficient to make me seriously doubt and reject the ethics of these people. andsome
Yet another bestial crime done in the name of religion. There is no such thing as a good religion, they have caused most of the wars and upset on this planet. You can believe in God, no matter what you call him/her, without these zealots of all faiths, and the crimes that they commit in the name of their religion. ranger
Muslim is a tolerant religion to all faiths, as are most religions, these scum saying they are doing it for Allah and the muslim faith are way of line, and frankly if they didn't abuse the Muslim faith for their own gains/views they would latch onto something else, they are evil people and if there is such a thing as God and the Devil, these scum are the Devils spawn
-pops-
Why aren't the "true" muslims rebelling or protesting against this?
catgate
These people are doing just what The Reverend Ian Paisleys supporters were doing i.e. slaughtering people to achieve their own ends. Oddly enough his opponents were using the same tactics. Just as are ETA. Funnily enough Dubya and our Looney are doing the same thing. Religion is only a means of brainwashing people into a state in which they can be controlled by those claiming to have a "direct line" to god (and their paymasters). Redhat
I have seen the complete video of the previous beheading of a journalist I believe. It came up on a popup when I was researching "extremist religion" and I was so horrified I was frozen and coouldn't move to exit it. I HATE knives. It was CATAGORICALLY, UNBELIEVEABLY, DISGUSTINGLY, ENTIRELY COMPLETELY THE WORST THING I'VE EVER SEEN.And I've seen ALOT.
nellie2
I have been affected by what has been happening with these hostages ..... the situation has really touched my soul and I feel very much the same as I did when I watched the twin towers fall to the ground. So helpless and hopeless.I fear the human race doesn't have much longer on this earth. What makes us unique is the ability to think and feel, to love and laugh, to reason and show compassion. Whilst extremists preach hate and retribution we, as a species cannot evolve, we will destroy ourselves.

moon
These throwbacks don't qualify as being 'human'. There is something absent from their minds . Because of them we live in fear, loathing , insecurity and our development as peaceful beings is retarded. For the sake of generations to come , no negotiations, no mercy, kill them all, now. genesis
Guys I'd like to add a few lines here. It's a situation, a very bad one.Americans are dropping daisy cutter bombs on Iraqi cities killing thousands of innocent civilians. When they are on the ground, they are mostly not on the frontlines, they send other Iraqi's ahead to fight. The world is using it's utmost power and the unique, brand new technology on Iraq. What do people in Iraq have? Hand grenades, pistols, klashanakovs, maybe even some rocket launchers. They have 0.00001% of the technology being used on the other side. They are outnumbered, outpowered and outweaponed. In this situation where innocent iraqi's are being killed everyday and no one says a thing about it, Islam actually allows any means of retaliation, not just Islam but common sense would suggest to use any and all means of retaliation. So it's not Islam, not those Muslims, it's the situation that George Bush created for us.Did you ever say why bush killed 3000+ children in iraq when they were bombing the cities heavily? That's just children count, and that's a rough idea as I saw on BBC. These children couldn't be the terrorists! Now people would say that in a war some innocent people do die, well if it's a war for Americans and it's ok for some innocent thousand of children to die, why is it not ok for iraqis to do the same on a smaller count but more public. At least they are not covering up what they are doing, Bush is.Just my dying 2 cents.

Northamuk
It may well be a valid point, if true. But ANY religion which supports the taking of CIVILIAN hostages and then sawing off their heads in front of a video camera does not deserve the title. andsome
RELIGION, find me a good one. They are all trouble makers. Everyday people who just want to get on with their own lives, and are willing to do ANYONE a good turn, and NO ONE a bad one are the bees knees as far as I am concerned. religions far as I am concerned can be stuffed up the nearest rectal aperture. andsome
Let us all now be prepared to give credit where and when it is due. It is heartening to see a delegation of moderate British Muslims flying to Iraq to plead for mercy for the British hostage. How about a bit more good will now, and let all moderate Muslims rise up against the preachers of terror in the mosques, and get rid of them all once and for all. How about the Protestant church getting rid of bigots like Paisley, and other preachers of hatred. How about if the Catholic leadership stop covering up for child molesting priests, and get rid of the antiquated rule stopping priests from marrying. How about if Catholics stop seeing their leader, the pope as being infallible, and why not let a poor old sick man have the last months of his life in retirement. How about if Jewish zealots STOP building on occupied Palestinian land. How about***, How about*** and so on. For pities sake we are only here once, and for a relatively short space of time. andsome
How about the Protestant church getting rid of bigots like Paisley, and other preachers of hatred. They can't as his protestant credentials are self awarded, he's a minister in the Free Presbyterian Church, that he founded himself in 1951, not Cof E.Some church that is then. What kind of people would possibly want to associate with it.
