Like a sense of humour?It has become like any other forum - just technical - no subject 'in off the topic' seems to sustain any sort of discussion anymore.The debates section has also become almost exclusively political - surely there are other topics out there in need of an airing.The jokes section is almost non-existent - although I would be the first to admit that you can have too much of a good thing.The photo comp that rebel started up was a really good idea - one which only about 25 people take any interest in - out of how many members??Even the 'polls' get a very poor interest.And as for the Gallery - a nice relief form stresses - gets hardly any visits.The chat room may as well not be there!yours,disillusioned,artist. trackrat Posted October 3, 2004 Report Share Posted October 3, 2004 I do not think it has lost anything, as for the jokes section, not so long ago it was close on to taking the forum over.Not everyone is into photography or they feel the snaps they have taken are not good enough after all the snaps were of a very high quality.This forum is still getting new members so it must be doing something right. Just look at how many people have viewed the thread "I used to be" and you will see that lots of people visit - even if they don't post.Cheer up gal - it aint all bad. Ive used a few for wallpaper ....Heh, artists mainly but don't ask for any royalties arf The place has become more of a help forum .....but then that was the original premise , wasn't it ....? ...... easier for modding ...? The thread is not a technical one or a serious debate which has got off topic. Surely the thread was started in an attempt to input a bit of humour, and as far as I am concerned is achieved that purpose. By all means let's keep on track with serious discussions and technical threads, but a humour posting in a humour thread can surely do no harm. Was Artist asked for her opinion?
