Born in Maryhill, Glasgow, but over the years have been slowly moving out of Glasgow and now find myself living in a place called Acre which is just before Glasgow's boundary with East Dunbartonshire, it's still classed as part of Maryhill though, although in all essence it's not, as it is about a mile from where most people think Maryhill starts

Originally from Slough - now Christchurch in Dorset - Lovely place!

Daughters still back there though - one in Ealing and the other in Sunbury on Thames.

I DON'T miss all the traffic but the shops here are hopeless. Have to go back often for a 'fix'. :)

Born and raised in Gloucester.

Me too ! :D :D :D - have lived in various places in the wonderful county over the years and currently reside 10 miles from Chepstow on the west bank of the Severn.

Oh my gawd!!! :D A genuine neighbor

Do you frequent any of the local pubs magik?? I may have bumped into you once or twice. B) I currently frequent the Ramblers Rest at weekends, and occasionally the Bickley Arms (now "ye olde stationmaster") during the week. But that is due to old habits, rather than good beer!! :(

Ordep - No I don't miss it at all. But years ago it was a very different place.

There was no ulterior motive for moving here though - Just loved our holidays down here and always said this was where we'd go if we had the opportunity. The first year here was traumatic - it's a retirement area and I felt like I was amongst the 'living dead' :) Now I'm almost one of them! :D

Guest Nellie2

I was born in Barnet and moved around a lot when I was little, ending up in Bristol when I was six, I spent my formative years there and then moved to Harlow in Essex when I was sixteen. I ran away from there when after a year and returned for a hazy couple of years in bedsit land back in Bristol. I finally ended up here, just outside Chester in Cheshire.

Paul lives around here somewhere apparently so I think I shall make it my mission to find out where then I can annoy him when he goes for a drink in his local........... :D  :P
