Anyone else watching?

Could be an interesting one, Jensons up there at the front of the grid; Schumacher already has trouble with his tyres!

Should be good!

Good job too, makes it a much more interesting season as Michael Schumacher will have to play catch up for a change!

That was a bit good, whatever you think of Schumacher as a person, as a driver the bloke is clearly in a league of his own.

With potential winners from Ferrari, Renault, Toyota, Mclaren and perhaps Toyota the season may not be the procession of previous years.

I have nothing against Michael Schumacher and I agree with you that he is an exceptional driver, but some of the praise has to go to the car as in F1 it is the overall package of driver and car.

The reason why I said that I didn't like Michael Schumacher winning everything was last year I am sure that some F1 fans got bored watching the same person win most of the time!

I very much enjoyed the race, but was extremely annoyed that ITV showed adverts with four laps to go, and returned to the race part way through the last lap.

I was exactly the same!!! I seriously turned the air blue! 4 to go, Schuey right at Alonsos rear end, with them both approaching back markers which would have made for interesting viewing - what do ITV do? What else.....they show an Advert for Blade 3 on DVD!!! :wallbash:

I agree andsome, it's most annoying and I preferred watching it when it was on the BBC, but unfortunately they lost the rights to screen it to ITV :(

It was for your own good. They knew you were watching and did not want to put your blood pressure up with the excitement and tension!! ;)

I was perfectly relaxed as a matter of fact, I had taken a foo foo pill before the race.

To damned well complain.

Oh right!

I don't think they will take much notice though as adverts finance ITV as you know.

I appreciate that, but could they not have been put back a few minutes? Immediately after the race and the antics on the podium, we had yet more adverts. I could not have been more than five minutes. I know that we can have too much state control, but things were a lot better when adverts were restricted by law to three time per hour, and then only for two or three minutes.

I didn't know that as after the race is won, I generally don't watch the podium antics and interviews.

Good luck, I think you will need it!

I think both Alonso and Schumacker would need some after they finished. It looks like it could be an interesting "season".

It would be apart from the crap ITV coverage.

You should try watching it on German RTL channel then,

3 laps in then a 7 min advert break, then about every 15 laps comes a 5 min break, now that is what i call crap.

I was surprised that ITV put a break in there cos as far as i know they normally always show you the last 10 laps un-interrupted.

So after putting up with the German coverage for a while then getting ITV i can't really knock the ITV coverage.

But a great race anyway, and earned me 171 points on my Fantasy F1 Team.

Yep it most probally is the same, it is a natinal channel RTL, plus the comentator has never been a racer. Unlike Martin Brundel on ITV

You can get it on Premira but that is too expensive.

So i am glad to watch it on ITV.
