There is a 35ft tidal race ...It goes out 15 miles ..you have to beach up , otherwise its a long walk (dangerous too ..Itll come in faster than you can jog , and come in behind you too ..Bit like Morcombe sands and the Chinese takeaways .. !)I remember we used to loose the odd tourist in my younger days , but you pick your times when to take a dip ....
