deuces wild
6:20 p.m. and it is 90 F outside. Same yesterday. Summer is here in Northern Ohio, USA.My son started his summer job today.....painting houses.....outside. He left the house at 6:45 a.m. (forgot his lunch and water thermos) and got back home at 5:30 p.m. He is 17 years old and neither the temperature or the long work day were a problem for him. He is looking to getting back to work tomorrow.I am proud of him. :) Oh to be young again. :P :D

joysness
Our weather in Oregon has been very strange this year. Was up in the 70's (F) middle of February, then it got down to freezing again in March, in May back up to the 80's and now we're back to the 50's and cold rain.Very weird. Had to turn the heat back on in my house I got so cold :( I hope summer gets here soon. Although I don't envy your son working outside at 90. artist
Hot in California too - My sister in law said. They get up at the crack of dawn to work - TOO hot in the afternoon. We went there in August one year, the heat was unbearable. Finally got a summer day here in Dorset yesterday - about 65 - 70. Looks like another good one out there.Nice to have kids who want to work - my two have always been that way too. :)
