trackrat Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 Four motherboards and two processors later and a fresh install of windows and everything is running great.So i installed AVG and went to update it and the update was corrupted, so i downloaded Avast and the installation was corrupt, after trying a load of downloads everyone was corrupt, can anyone give me a starting point on what to look for as i have not got a clue where to start to solve this problem of corrupted downloads. catgate Posted March 10, 2006 Report Share Posted March 10, 2006 And I thought I had been having problems!!When I install downloads I always make sure I download to HD, close down the Internet connection (and any other thing that is running in the tray) and then I install. andsome Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 Have you tried creating a folder on your hard drive specially for downloads, download to that and then install from there?
