Blacklight
Do you ever notice, hence using the PC for ages, your mouse hand gets red and grows a calys [spelling?] on the skin over your ball joint?A little random, but it is annoying. deuces wild
Can you relate to any of the symptoms found with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/ctsfs.htmlhttp://orthoinfo.aaos.org/brochure/thr_rep...opcategory=Hand
-pops-
Assuming you don't have anything as nasty as carpel tunnel syndrome, you could trying using a gel filled wrist rest which will prevent some of the hard impact of your wrist on the desk surface. This will give an idea of the sort of thing I mean here

Gandalph
You could also try getting your hands on an Accudata mouse pad. They have a plastic base with built in wrist support at the front. They also have a parking slot for the mouse, a storage area for five floppies and two pens or pencils, and not to forget of course they recessed area for the mouse mat.
