What County Are You From?

Yorkshire.

This was the original foundation stone of Gt Britain. It arose out of the sea many millemia ago, and was peopled with wondermen and demi gods from outer space. Gradually they brought in large lumps of rock, enormous quantities of mud and vegetation, from the continent of, what has since been called, Europe, and gradually extended Yorkshire (which is actually Venusian for "The best Place on Earth") into what you see today as Great Britain.

Because it was peopled by wondermen and demi gods it had a headstart and that is why it has always lead the rest of GB. The industrial revolution started here, but was claimed by others. We are by nature very generous and so we do not quarrel with them about the reality of it all. However one only needs to look at history to see the fact speak for themselves.

Only pushkin, Curlywhirly and Thos semed to have answered correctly the question posed in the thread title. It clearly asks what county you are from - not country.

I'm from Warwickshire myself.

Nah Nah and once again Nah. He is asking what Country you are from not what County. I know it says "What County are you from" in his title but if you read the thread it says Country. B)

Both of you are correct. The title to the thread uses the word 'County', yet the question in the post uses the word 'Country'.

I would guess Panosonic's intentions were *Country* as he is from the Philippines, not the UK. :)

You can tell how mixed up he is by his photo which he uses for his avatar.

Not a nice thing to say Alan. An avatar is nothing more than a reflection of one's feelings at the moment.

Anyway - how do you know he meant country - there are counties in lots of countries.

Why would he care what county you lived in? He is from the Philippine's, not the UK. Each country, province or state has hundreds, perhaps thousands of counties.

You are fighting windmills Alan. :flowers:
