Stupid SPAM

I received a SPAM Email today worded as follows :-

Quote

Most people believe that a greasy cargo bay avoids contact with an avocado pit, but they need to remember how almost a chain saw ruminates. An umbrella for a warranty is highly paid. For example, a ball bearing related to the dust bunny indicates that a cab driver non-chalantly gives a pink slip to a judge inside a photon. When you see an asteroid, it means that a hockey player laughs out loud.

Another CEO inside a warranty takes a coffee break, and a so-called pickup truck leaves; however, a fundraiser beyond an ocean knows a roller coaster from a blithe spirit. When you see the wheelbarrow, it means that some carpet tack from a salad dressing starts reminiscing about lost glory. When the proverbial pine cone hibernates, a college-educated graduated cylinder wakes up. The freight train for a mortician has a change of heart about a satellite. Sometimes the college-educated jersey cow flies into a rage, but a wisely obsequious hole puncher always knowingly gives lectures on morality to a tomato! A diskette non-chalantly learns a hard lesson from a polar bear from an ocean. The cantankerous pickup truck learns a hard lesson from some CEO near the tape recorder. When a hockey player is geosynchronous, the photon goes deep sea fishing with the precise blithe spirit. A psychotic wheelbarrow makes love to a pickup truck. When the pathetic grand piano is feline, the tornado overwhelmingly makes love to the crank case of some traffic light.

Another mitochondrial particle accelerator An impromptu nation trades baseball cards with the tuba player inside the parking lot. An abstraction of an umbrella laughs out loud, and a slow abstraction hesitates; however, the support group behind the insurance agent buys an expensive gift for a skinny vacuum cleaner. Some judge from the cyprus mulch finds subtle faults with a seldom obsequious jersey cow.

I don't get the point - there was no virus in the message and no attachment - so why?

Or am I being thick again.

Since changing my e mail address a couple or so years ago I have had no spam until recently. Now I have been getting an increasing number. The only thing different is that i have entered several competitions on the Classic FM website. I have sent Classic FM three e mails which remain unanswered. I have telephoned and when I have asked to speak to someone I have been put through to someones voice mail. I have now given up trying to contact them having left my phone number several times, and never receiving a return call. I have now changed my e mail address once more to a more complicated one. The lesson is to stay away from the Classic FM website.

There are few days that go by without a similar thing appearing on my screen. Sometimes they have attachments and some times it is just gibberish, of the type in which I am not nearly fluent enough to make sense of it all. I presume the attachment free sort are there just to get you to hit the reply button to find out what is going on.

What a splendid idealode - you should be one of the tutors - so obsequious spangly plonking higgoramouses like me could get eddificated.

I use eprompter to view my emails as text online then clear out the spam before it even gets anywhere near my machine.

Also whichever email client you use, select to read your emails as plain text, reading emails as html can contain a small embedded 1 pixel gif loaded from a server can/will confirm your email addy as a live /in use email address, thus leading to further spam.

I didn't know that there were people who read their spam, and even try to extract some meaning out of it.

The reason why spammers put random text into their messages is of course to try to avoid spam filters.

The reason why sometimes nothing else is in their messages is because many spammers are truly stupid (not all, though).
