Andsome’s nearly reached the score

Of twenty thousand posts

They are mainly groans or smilies

The rest are blatant boasts

About his looks and qualities

His political rants and hates

And his views upon religion

Which incite some forum mates

His chauvinistic prowess

(But his fear of ‘er indoors)

But we’d miss his daily drivel

He’s one of our favourite forum bores.

I see he’s now achieved it

The twenty thousand score

So now we need to brace ourselves

For twenty thousand more

Loads and loads of moans and groans

About New Labour, the Pope and Blair

He frets and fumes at everything

That’s why he’s got no hair

He is anti this and anti that

And especially anti Blair

And it will soon be anti Brown

When Tony leaves his chair

He’s an expert on everything

He can advise on any mess

He can preach on lots of topics

Like our awful NHS

Congestion on our busy roads

Lenient sentences for thugs

The snout-in-trough Eurocrats

Who take us all for mugs

The scourge of illegal immigrants

And the benefits they take

We should bring back strict controls

It would be a piece ‘a cake

The rampant PC culture

The rising racial tension

The demand for colour blindness

And things we dare not mention

Our impotent policemen

Judges making mockery of the law

The war upon the motorist

It’s not like it was before

The corrupt and greedy at the top

The railways, crap TV

He could fix the ruddy lot

And do it all for free

Tolerance, humility

He hasn’t got a lot

Robbers should be hung

Public farters should be shot

He loves a rampant argument

He goads members of the forum

Angry threads are his delight

Which is hardly good decorum

It makes you wonder what it’s like

To have opinions oh so strong

Articulate, considered

Self confident………………………. and wrong.

To compensate - when he was born

He was given superb looks

Plus intelligence and fortitude

My God ………………………………this poem sucks

I have a rare condition

I do everything in rhyme

Even a simple shopping list

takes me a long long time

When I converse with strangers

They are taken by surprise

They have this strange expression

And a glazed look in their eyes

Everything I say and write

Has to be in verse

It's such a lousy handicap

Nothing could be worse

Or could it................................ ;)

It could be worse if you set it to music.
