His wife says it is due to a mould growth, engendered by sitting in damp conditions.Like the joke. Does he honestly think that this is a green pre budget? All that he has done is to raise taxes for people, some of whom can ill afford it. If he really wants to appear to be green, then he needs to do something about rail fare prices, and lack of buses in many areas, and make it worthwhile taking the bus or train instead of the car. This is just another comrade Gordon get more tax in scheme, I wonder where he intends to waste this extra cash.
AlanHo
It makes you wonder why people go into politics - let alone strive for high office. They must know that they are going to be subjected to a veritable barrage from catgate and andsome - speaks volumes for their fortitude or stupidity. AlanHo
There is no need to shout so loud....we are not all deaf. You told me thay you wear TWO deaf aids. :lol:It is not PC to call them deaf aids - they are hearing aids because they help you to hear and not help you to "deaf".Secondly - it is true that I use two hearing aids when out in company or with passengers in the car. My comment was out of unselfish consideration for others who have perfect hearing and can well do without your yelling at them.

I meant green.
catgate
- speaks volumes for their fortitude or stupidity.I would think it was more likely to be ego driven insularity. It is a wonderful attribute that is reponsible for sustaining most of the world "celebrities". I will refrain from listing them, otherwise I would still be sitting here typing at midnight. Gandalph
MP's pay should be performance related In that case they would have to pay us for voting them into the job. As Sir Mike Jackson said the other night in a documentary about Iraq, They wouldn't get a job anywhere else.

By now, B'liar and comrade Gordon would be bankrupt.
