andsome
Dress for the ladies is No trousers , Jeans, trainers etc. It has been suggested that they dress as for a wedding or special occasion. She is one of seven representatives of Age Concern Staffordshire. Of course, I get to mess about on the computer all day without any nagging. :D :D

andsome
hey ....andsome ......you is welsh....boyo ... ?Not to my knowledgeWhat a wonderful opportunity and experience! Give her my congratulations. You must be very proud. I'll look forward to hearing all about it later in the week. :DLike me, she has little time for Royalty or aristocracy, but looks upon it as an opportunity for a good day out, and a nice free lunch. Like me she shares a love of ancient homes, and it will be a good opportunity to see inside one that normally would be out of bounds. This is why we are both members of the National trust. andsome
She had a very good day out and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lunch turned out to be a buffet, very tasty but a bit on the mean side. She said the house was beautiful inside all except for the very old well worn carpets. Here is a link for some photos. Click on the right hand side for your royal event. Then select Age concern from the selection list. The pass word is AGE. She is on photos KXOCO477 - 479 inc, and KXOCO156-161 inc. She is in a pink suit.LINK HERE
Irene
Jean looked very nice, most certainly up to the occasion. Quite regal :) Everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves. What type of buffet was it? what sort of things were on it?Did Camilla put in an appearance? (I didn't look closely at all the photos, mostly the one's which you indicated).I was just thinking...I would hate to live their lives (the Royals and any other celebs), constantly under the microscope. I'm glad I'm just me. :D
