ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Even I will wait for once. My data is too important as to mess with it.I think I will even take a full system backup before I install the final version of CCleaner 2 (due this week). The program has been completely rewritten in a new language, and there are great chances of bugs.
-pops-
I'll leave until it's very well established.Like Pat, I have data too important to take the least risk with on my machines.
andsome
My computer is used almost exclusively for pleasure, but I still see no point in risking fouling things up with something so new.

AlanHo
I have downloaded and run it on my Vista machine. It seems to be fine.
-pops-
Did a run with the old version, then a Restore setting and a run with the new. It found quite a few things that the old one ignored including a load of redundant desktop icons.Quite pleased with it!

andsome
ONE WORD OF WARNING. If you don't want a load of invasive rubbish on your computer, UNTICK the yahoo tool bar box.
Irene
I installed it... all went fine (created a restore point before).I ran it for the first time, after which my pc appears to be running even faster. :D Is it my imagination? -pops-
Irene, if you've never run Ccleaner before, it may well make you machine run faster. I certainly found it did after I first used it - it took nearly half an hour to clean the rubbish out. If it can remove that much, it is almost certain to improve performance. Irene
I was already using the previous version. It was probably just my imagination!

-pops-
I was already using the previous version. It was probably just my imagination! May not be - I used the new one immediately after after the old and it found quite a lot of stuff to chuck out so it's certainly more thorough that the old one. andsome
Whatever the above results imply, it certainly is a very useful program, and merits a place on everyones computer. :D
