catgate
cats rule, I've always wanted a house cat they seem to be more cuddly. but its a bit cruel to keep them inside all day. That's very true. They should be encouraged to go out and play amongst the traffic.
Mike567
lol nice way to put it!!I had a right rant at someone because they killed a innocent cat, he threw a pitch fork at it, gave it back to the owner and said it had been run over in the street ;).That's just nasty how can you kill a cat :O
andsome
I have never actually hurt one, I just direct a hosepipe at them. People who keep cats, should by law have to erect gigantic fences to keep the wretched beasts out of other peoples gardens. Dogs locally may bark, but they don't crap in our garden. Watchful
andsome - why don't you vent your spleen on something really bad, like people who throw pitchforks at animals I'd rather have a million cats than one such 'person.'
andsome
andsome - why don't you vent your spleen on something really bad, like people who throw pitchforks at animals I'd rather have a million cats than one such 'person.' I think such behaviour is appalling, and would not condone it for one moment. As I said, I confine myself to using the hosepipe in an attempt to discourage them from coming into our garden, digging plants up, and crapping. The subject of cats came up on this forum a long time ago, and I gave an opinion on them at that time. Since then, on many occasions, a joke has been made at my expense regarding my opinions. I merely go along with the jokes, and enjoy them. I am always more than willing to be an Aunt Sally. This doesn't alter the fact that cats have never been properly domesticated, as have dogs, and remain basically feral. They can be a damned nuisance to neighbours, and for some reason the neighbours annoyance seems to offend the owners. The same can of course be said for owners of noisy dogs, who make no attempt to keep them quiet. At least a dog can be controlled NOT to annoy others if the owner makes the attempt. The same cannot be said for cats, and they are a pain in the ass, and totally unsuitable animals for crowded neighbourhoods. Would you as a cat lover, not defend my rights to also love our garden space and want to look after it? Our garden does NOT annoy any of the neighbours at all. Mike567
I recall someone talking about a hosepipe that actually has a motion detector on it so a cat walks past and it squirts it
