Is there anyone else out there?

I really want them to win, but I can't understand it at all.

My games were tennis, netball & hockey.

Not that I really liked hockey. I was the bully-off and I swear that everyone aimed for my shins!!! :0

I am cheering at every moment I feel appropriate.

I know that I will be aware of the winner when the final whistle blows....

 promise I will try to stay awake. :flowers:

Just remember to suck a lemon at half time to get the real effect.

I watched most of it and it's a shame we lost. Having said that - what the h*** it's all about is beyond me!

It never gets going!! They spend all the time cuddling each other or trying to cause more brain damage. As for the ref - all he does is shout.

Give me football anyday. (Man U, Man U - 4-1 yes!!)

I was until last night when I watched most of it. It's all over now baby blue :(

My husband used to play so he's a fanatic. I just ask him when I'm stuck for a reason why they've done something I don't understand.

Very dignified final though (except for the bloke who managed a flying tackle at a camera) :D

Let me lay your mind at rest.

I used to "play" in my formative years. The "game" is not really a game at all.

In the original world of rugby (Rugby Union) no one cared tuppence who won or lost. It was simply a way of passing a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, in convivial company, getting rid of a lot of testosterone, This ensured that when evening came, and some of it had returned, through imbibing a few pints of falling over water, there was still insufficient left to cause any lasting harm to the female company towards which one inevitably gravitated.

The current spectacle, as displayed in TV, is a neutered, commercialise thing, There is currently a plan being worked upon to allow viewers to vote for the winners on an 0870 number.
