No wonder you get so many cats in your garden. Biologists believe that nature has bestowed the Acer with this attraction so that cats crap under it and fertilise the extensive root structure.If I were you andsome - I would dig it up. My acer has been displaying itself naked for about 3 weeks now!!! :DIt's usually at it's best for about four or five days, depending on the weather.
