The board you have brought has no newer BIOS updates so leave well alone.

The best of luck when you boot it up.

Six operating systems????? are you having a laugh.

Have you ever used a program like G-Parted to partition your hard drives, as you will need to use a program like this if you intend to put that amount of operating systems on, and you will also need to know about boot loaders.

Just out of interest what are the six operating systems you are going to install?.

1. Solaris

2. Ubuntu

3. Vista (ultimate)

4. XP (dunno, XP or Pro)

5. Mac OSX Leopard

6. Novell Linux SUSE (I am doing this in a course next year, so I thought I could get ahead a little bit)

G-Parted?

Okay, I'll better start a new topic about those kind of things...

Why not install Google on your computer to facilitate looking up such information.

You could then type "G-Parted" in the search box and get this

Looking at the operating systems you want to put on one hard drive, there is no way it will happen.

You seem to know nothing about partitioning or boot loaders and it is too complicated to start a thread on.

As was suggested in an earlier post Google G-Parted and do some reading, as the things that can go wrong with trying to install so many operating systems are huge.

Also you need to know which order to install them.

If you do try installing all of them , the best of luck.

I fully agree with the opinion expressed by Alan

This is the latest post to the same thread on the Windows Vista forum...(a copy and paste job)

PANARCHY

if you got the rig running, please respond to this thread......

I think, in light of the 117 posts it took to build this "machine", it would be proper to let everyone know that the rig is built! :D;-)

then we could close this "longest build known to mankind" to rest.... and get started on something else.

like overclocking that thing to the max.....;-)

let us know how it runs! what is the core temp of the cpu when idle?

these are things i have to know!
