Give WF a makeover...

Let's start with the logo. I have always wondered why the red portion was overlapping both the blue part and the yellow part. To me it would be much more logical if the yellow part would go over the red part.

I have tried to simulate it with my very poor drawing skills:

I don't think there is a lot needs doing, apart from cosmetic issues such as a slight change in the logo.

The WF skin is sufficiently different to other forums layouts that I have seen to "stand out from the crowd". It's certainly very different to the IP basic board it is built on and which many forums use without any modification. It's also "friendly" in appearance, unlike some which are very austere and uninviting (and which have similarly austere and uninviting staff running them) We don't need to search very far to realise the one in particular I mean.

I find the structure or layout of the Forum a bit inconsistent which leads to members posting some threads in the wrong board.

I would suggest :-

In response to Pat Willener's comment on the logo - a couple of years ago I provided Craig with an .ico file for the logo modified exactly as Pat suggested. It was in use by the forum for quite a while. Somehow we have got back to the original. The file is still available if required.
