AlanHo
The police knife amnesty in our town is a bloody nightmare. I dutifully handed all my knives in and now I've got nothing to eat my dinner with.

Belatucadrus
Chopsticks? :DThat's the next amnesty, health and safety have analysed them and come to the conclusion that after customisation using a device known as a "Pencil sharpener" chopsticks are also too dangerous for the general public to use.HMG approved rubber chopsticks are to be introduced some time in the new year, they make your noodles taste disgusting, but can't be used to impale your opponent. catgate
What about the ice making compartment of the fridge? I remember a play on radio many years ago (Paul Temple ...remember?) where a victim was stabbed to death and no weapon could be found at all. All the house doors were locked and so the murderer and the weapon had still to be inside the house. A piece of ice had been used and it melted. AlanHo
Dick Barton special agent would have solved it in a flash with musical accompaniment..
andsome
Dick Barton special agent would have solved it in a flash with musical accompaniment..That programme wouldn't be allowed now. It would be racist to use the name Jock. Snowy may also be construed as picking on people with silvery coloured hair.
catgate
Dick Barton special agent would have solved it in a flash with musical accompaniment..That brings back memories. Each episode ended with Dick Barton shouting,"Quick! Jock...Snowy!" followed by dum diddle dum diddle dum diddle ad infinitum. This was my cue, on the nights I went to the wrestling club, to dash out of the house and dash up the road to catch the bus. It left the terminus at 7.0 and where I got on was the third stop.
