It's just a shame that we have nothing to show for it as it has been squandered.

Oh but we have. We have an enormous national debt, the highest level of crime in Europe, the highest fuel prices in Europe, the most ineffective failed political party in Europe led by he biggest failure ever in the history of European Politics

errr ........ low unemployment ...? one in four work for the state ...all with gold plated pensions .... we're dooooomed ..I tell yea

Mmm... I'm sceptical of this figure as the (aprox 2.6 million) incapacity claimants aren't included in the official unemployment figures.

Neither are the people on Income Support. They don't come into the unemployed figures either.

Yes I wouldn't want to be in the next governments' shoes whoever they are :blink:

Taxes will probably have to rise if Labour are re-elected (some chance I know :D ) and, even if the Tories get in, taxes will probably still have to rise despite the inevitable cuts in government spending to help bring the deficit back into line.
