Irene Posted May 31, 2008 Report Share Posted May 31, 2008 I dont know how to do nice screen prints like yoursVery simple Johnoo....All you have to do is, when you have the screen you wish to display, just hold down the Alt-key and touch print-screen. Then press start - Run - then type in, mspaint - Edit - paste - then just save as the file name you choose, in the file which you choose.Once I have done that, in order to uplift the file into Windows Forum, I reduce the size by using PIXresizer, which easily enables me to upload and display the file on WF. :D P.S. The coastline where you are going on your holiday is spectacular. I have been to the Istrian Peninsular, which was stunning. Have a wonderful time. Perhaps we will speak again when you return. (However, we are likely to be going on holiday soon too, but I am sure that you will have lots of help from the other members - probably more able than I ). With all the money that a computer costs, the fee is chicken feed when the comfort factor is taken into account. Peace of mind, with a program that updates several time a day automatically, and is always in the top three on the Virus bulletin, and has only had one failure in its history, and that was several years ago. I have no 'axe to grind' about AVG or NOD32, but surely if it's possible to use a perfectly good free piece of software - once set up correctly - that has to be more than acceptable. Browsing through some other computer forums shows this has been the experience of many others - e.g. Broadband Reports here. Some say that once you've tweaked it to your liking it works OK, and others have no problems at all. I'm wondering if they've deliberately made it difficult, seeing as how they're going to fade out the free version, so they're left only with paying clients.I've installed AntiVir Free on my desktop machine to replace AVG8, and although it regularly comes top in several a-v tests, I'm not happy with it because it adds about 45 seconds to my boot-up time. Also updates take a very long time.I'm seriously thinking about going over to Nod32 and dispensing with separate anti-virus, anti-malware and firewall utilities...
