While I was in there I got my eye onto some Pork Scratchings and thought I haven't had any of those for a while, and got a bag. While I and the dogs were sitting chomping away at these I got my eye on the panel at the back of the packet and was puzzled by the following. 'Best by Date: 8 259 A 1R'. I think it is a Batch number and the Best by date has been inadvertently missed off the packet.
