andsome Posted March 30, 2009 Report Share Posted March 30, 2009 We don't have a clock on our thermostats.Our thermostat is quite sophisticated. Up to six different times can be set for each day. So in other words, it is set to come on at 6-50 in the morning and heat up to 19.5 degrees. At 9-30 it switches down to 19 degrees. At 4 it switches up to 19.5 degrees, and at 6 in the evening it switches up to 20.5 degrees. At 10.30 it switches down to 15 degrees, so that if the outside temperature drops very low the temperature indoors will not go below this. We can select to carry on at the pre-set temperature for longer if we have visitors. If we go away for a few days we can set it to switch back to the normal programme at midnight the day before we come home, so that we have a warm home to come home to. :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
