A good website for buying PC gear

This can be sort of a help topic but also a general chat topic, I don't know, but thought it'd be best to put it here rather than in the IT forum.

Sorry if it's not.

Anyway. I am really wary about buying stuff off the internet if it's a new website and was wondering if anyone can give me their recommendations for online shops/websites that I can buy PC stuff from which is good and reasonably priced.

It's easy to surf around Google and other search engines but I don't feel it's so safe. That's why I'd rather ask people who has done it before and had no problems.

I don't trust allot of sights to buy from either, but have bought quite allot from http://www.ebuyer.com/ and http://www.amazon.co.uk/ref=gno_logo_w_h_ over the years, not the cheapest but close.

I'm looking more on graphics cards and RAM at the minute too. Are there any anyone knows that specify in either of these? For laptops.

I know I'm being picky, just trying my luck :lol:

I tend to use ebuyer, but also generally well regarded are Novatech and Scan.

For RAM Crucialare hard to beat, I have used them many times, in fact I have just ordered laptop memory for myself and a friend from them today, like the others posted I have used Ebuyer, scan and Amazon on many occasions and not had any problems

I always shop around and a single computer build may be sourced from a number of suppliers.

I also tend to stock things - that is buy two of something if they seem particularly good value - to use in the future. This is only of any use if you build on a regular basis.
