Tankus Posted July 11, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 11, 2009 spolier ...do not read if you intend to watch it I thought that the whole political/ authoritarian reference's were fairly shocking ...particularly a barely concealed dig at brown and the whole labour cabinet ....especially in the end where Prime minister Green tried to get away with blaming the Americans (it all started in America) for the near death of the lowest performing 10% of the UK's children population ("why else do we have school league tables " classic) telling the civil servant that his children had to die to make a political point , fake empathy , then" thank you I've got work to do , I'm rather busy" dismissed ... trust us ..the government knows what's best for you ..then its shades of Auschwitz (really dark ) , and chilling justification in the cabinet , self serving , and not the deed in itself , just the worry about being found out , without the morality.... the military ..(asylum seekers children first as they will not be missed ) not the police rounding up the children , with the police questioning then removing the symbols of authority and joining the people to protect the children .blowing up cardiff docklands .......And the welsh sink estate couple ..cracked me up .......... " we'll get him on the victory lap" picking up a brick, after his "posh " brother in laws car got stolen , then the MI5 surveillance team being accused of being paedophiles and the car getting surrounded and stoned ...would you sacrifice your own child to protect 1000's from damnation ?not your usual cheesy britscifi Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
