This morning his gardening shoes - no mean feat as they are size 11 and clumpy.I imagine it must be a fox or fox cub maybe as the back toggles on the shoes had been chewed away. I did think that maybe it's because they're cold and need the gloves and shoes but they're a bit big...Seriously - what deterrent to get them out of the garden? They have tried all the old country remedies, old wives tales and fiendish gadgets available - with absolutely no success. It appears to be mission impossible without building a high wire fence that the foxes cannot climb or dig under.Our houses border on open fields and it so happens that we like to see the foxes and badgers in the garden and put out food scraps to attract them most evenings. We'll just have to get tidier!Under the shed would seem to be suspect - we'll sort that out first.We have two cat friends. A black one who scales the 7ft wall and sits on the patio waiting for mice. Then there's the tabby who spends many a cold night on a chair outside the kitchen window.Can't get another dog a. need to be free to go off in the caravan and b.
