AlanHo
We came to Cornwall for aweek to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary - I had booked a day trip by helicopter to visit the famous Abbey Gardens. We had an open reservation brought forward from last year because the flight was cancelled due to fog at the Scilly Isles. Lightning struck twice - we drove to Penzance on a lovely sunny morning last Tuesday - only to find that the flight was cancelled due to by fog at the Scilly Isles. We were the first to check in (I'm too early for everything) so we were lucky to be able to grab the last two seats on Thursday's flights. Thursday came and we woke up to a murky foggy morning - I phoned the heliport knowing all too well what the answer would be - yes lightning had struck for the third time and the flights were off for the whole day. So yet again we are left with open tickets we can use on our next trip to Cornwall - whenever that might be.I wonder what the chances are of three successive bookings being cancelled due to fog in May or June. The locals say it is very rare to have such severe fog at this time of the year - just our luck eh!!!!!!
rong
I would take it as a warning that you should stay on the ground

Irene
I would be tempted to say that something, or someone, is trying to tell you something!
andsome
I don't believe in superstition. Go at the first opportunity, it's a thrill a minute. My only helicopter flight was in a very small one. The pilot and me up front side by side, and two people sitting behind us.
