Somebody post something ! :)

It can be a link to an interesting website. ( It's difficult. Means using the keyboard and clicking the mouse. It's difficult posting a link. )

A link to a YouTube Video.

A link to a YouTube Song. (Levels of difficulty are climbing all the time, I've got to make a decision about what video, which song. :0 )

A picture of your domestic dog. (Canine ? )

Can you spare the time to give a link to a useful piece of software ? (I'm more of a - "In the background" type of person really :( )

Perhaps even tell the story of how Grandma fell over the kerb and smashed her front teeth out ?

Can you produce a tutorial ? (He's joking, - right ? )

Can you write a piece on the "Tips and Tricks" of computing ? -

Can you ? / Will you ? - Do bugger all to contribute to this forum, or is there just a secret "Death Wish" at the very "Core of people" on the agenda here somewhere ?

Keep it rollin' or it will grind to a halt. ???? ? :unknw: :unknw: :unknw:

Is it "You" that is being addressed ?

I applaud your constant efforts to engender some life into this forum - I tried it myself many months back - but my efforts proved to be in vain. I hope you have more success.

Most of the posts here are now by new - or relatively new - members, who visit to get an obscure problem aired that more often than not could be solved by some judiscious Googling. They then vanish into the ether.

There is no fun here any more - despite the efforts of bludgard and yourself. Other than the recent contributions by you two guys, I see few jokes, no banter, no stories, no family news, no holiday or other pics - just tinder dry reminders of software updates, spam posts and the aformentioned spurious technical stuff which contains a rare jewel..

The people who used to be the very heart of the forum with daily contributions - have either withdrawn completely or make their presence know only on rare occasions.

If you look back at the lounge archive a year or more back and it was very much alive - with daily posts by myself, andsome, catgate and a few others. However - these efforts were met with a steadily declining response, some over-exuberant moderating and a degree of negativity by some members. One in particular - seemed to have a fetish about andsome and was regularly sniping at him. Despite the fact that andsome is no longer here - he still can't desist from making an occasional snipe.

I fear that you stand as much chance of getting this forum to sing again as you would in any other old peoples home

Meanwhile the Grace O' Malley with the evil Cap'n Bludgard aboard is becalmed in Cornish waters.

GRACEOMALLEY.jpg

Fearing Bludgard's intentions, the whole world is put on "Red Alert"

The first casualties of the "Outage" start to show up !

Will someone at last answer the post about Windows 98 from 2005 ?

Will Hendrix ever be heard in the auditorium of the forum ?

Did the old womans anus which was removed get made into paté ?

Keep signing in to see what happens next.

I occasionally have a look here. I agree fully with the comments in Alan's post. I have very broad shoulders and can take a joke, but personal sniping is out of order. Everyone knows who is being referred to in Alan's post.

Bloody 'ell............... He has awoken from the winter hibernation at last !

Nice to see you. Hope is all well. The Eden Project is 5 Million in debt since you visited. Can you bring the plants back !

Have solved your little problem Keith. Read below:

(1) Open Internet Explorer. (Not by means of desktop shortcut, but by normal means)

(2) Now make that screen smaller by means of "Restore Down"

(3) Now drag the screen to full size with the handles at the corners to fill the screen.

(4) Any URL shorcuts on the desktop will now open at fullscreen.

The original post was made on 21st February, and already two of the finest brains in Britain have finally awoken and contributed exactly bugger all of any use to the forum.

This has got to be a good day ! - Everything's Coming Up Roses and Daffodils.

It has been reported in the tabloids that there have been faster contacts at a Spritualist Church on a quiet day. I used to think that posters answering queries from 2006 were on some kind of a wind-up. After hearing from these two I'm not so sure.

If you're trying to play "Catchup" guys go to this thread: http://forums.window...showtopic=49415

The music may bring you around and help you realise that we are now 2012. - A Happy New Year !

Also if you get into trouble trying ever to post something useful and entertaining like a YouTube video, there is some help there for you also.

Unfortunately Mahler got left out this time around. He was a man sorely missed by the musical fraternity when he passed. - But not particularly by me. :) (Sorry andsome couldn't resist it.)

Thanks guys. It's exactly your brand of exciting, positive, and illuminating input that the forum must surely be in need of at this particular point in time. Keep up the good work. We are all very proud of you. :)
