Thanks Pops. :)

I find that sort of stuff very, very, funny, and it's given me yet even more ideas for tongue-in-cheek online wind-up's. - Yippee !

It was exactly for the reasons in your post that I thought I would do the Windows 8 help guide. (More yet to come by the way.) I could easily visualize 'the Windows 8 situation' escalating into a "Lightbulb" "Light Bulb" scenario of the same magnitude, with people jumping on the train, - "Just for the hell of it."

If I can show just 2 people that it is not too difficult to click on a link to be able to learn something in the next year, rather than sitting like little birds with their beaks open waiting to be spoon-fed, - I'll be a happy chappie. bag31.gif

...However.............. It does seem rather absurd that Energy Saving Bulbs have not been mentioned in the post.

No doubt other posters will come forward to back up my views or to add further criticism.36_1_37.gif

I enjoyed the posting emensely.

However:

I see no mention of my latest invention (shower head/flash-light) that is a handy piece of hard-ware and delivers a truly shocking experience.

I will be accepting orders at my place of residence if any would care to drop off their bankroll(s).

Much appreciated,

Jobe

Edit:

If no orders are placed before December 24 10 PM EST, I will be the one coming down your chimneys on Christmas morn'....

Toodles'

:pardon:

As mutch as I'd love to keep posts up to date; I fear I can no longer keep up with the BIOS of the underground "illuminati operandi" sub-culture.

If I feel the need to change my position (movies do keep my attention longer than some cocked-up bunch of enlightening data, I will or wiln't post to this thead anon.

AWESOME video, by the way.

Duane brings memories from way back. Every kid with a guitar could play like Duane back then because he never got around to learnin' or using too many chords. - Just got to pluck on single strings a bit.

Rumour has it that he put a lot of his money into a light bulb factory in Memphis. - Don't know how true that is. Perhaps someone could enlighten us.

I would just like to point out to Cap'n Bludgard that "some cocked-up bunch of enlightening data" is the very lifeblood of this forum, and writing rude and sarcastic replies to the bearers of it has played a large part in the formative years of many-a-journalist.

Getting back on topic ! Momma never had to change light bulbs in our place. We just had a big ass ol' jar of Fireflies hanging from the beam, and nobody had to change nuthin' cos them critturs was sex mad and kept reprodoosin'.

"Me too's

"Me three"

I'm going to opt for A just to keep it as simple as changing a light bulb.

1) I wasn't aware that this was a laughing matter.

2) Option "A" would require that one change the light-bulb and one to post the changing of said bulb (clearly documented by OP).

A. 1 to change the light bulb and 1 to post that the light bulb has been changed

How to Change a Light Bulb: 7 steps (with pictures)

Note an important note in step 4:

It is then now, at this stage of the story realised why Gandalph is leader of the "Fellowship of the Ring", and why Robin finds himself in the following position:

comicexpose_zps8ee98ebf.jpg

As Robin exposes himself will Gandalph make a grab for his ring and beat hasty retreat back to Middle Earth ?

Will Marty and Doc be able to stop Gandalph destroying Robins ring ?

Will Princess Leia gain immortality from what Batman forces towards her mouth from the computer screen ?

Remy sings a sad song about Light Bulbs.

And we then finally return to the age old question.
