Gandalph
News just in from Peru and Bolivia.Experts have found out that it will not be the end of the World on December 21st as other non-experts have said it would. They have uncovered Hieroglyphs deep in the heart of the Peruvian Mountains and have been deciphering them for the past eighteen Month's. The Hieroglyphs, according to the experts read along the lines as follows: On the seventh day of the tenth month, the "Keeper of the Calendar" lost his Biro. Montezuma was reluctant to buy him another one as it was the sixth one he had lost that year, so sacked him instead. As they couldn't find anyone else with the knowledge of the Moon and Stars the "Calendar keeping" job was abandoned. So there you have it folk's. Nothing to worry about. MANEMAN
I could have told them that without all the research Gandalph.Missus has got some bacon in the fridge that says it is ok until January the 4th.Bit of lateral thinking was all that was involved for me to work out the world wasn't gonna end before then. Stands to reason dunnit ?John.
Belatucadrus
Well that explains everything, Montezuma was an Aztec and all they knew about was extracting peoples squishey bits without anaesthetic. Has anybody checked up with Harold Camping ? It must be about time for his latest scientifically evaluated and entirely inaccurate prognostication of universal doom.PS I have stocked up on marmite crisps and vodka just in case they're right. You can never have enough marmite crisps and vodka during an apocalypse.
