That principle, like many things, was a good idea, and still is. The trouble is that those "using it" are not interested in the interests of the country, but they are interested in gaining their own ends at any cost as long as the costs are deposited on someone else. It is difficult to see how the situation can be altered when the "upper house" is largely populated by "lower house" cast offs and those gaining reward for favours received. I suspect he'd be closer to the truth if he'd stated "I am a narcissistic pillock with anger management issues ". His statement however does verify that there's Fake news flying about, he knows it, he creates it. Similarities between Don of USA and Ming of Mongo are legion and should not be ignored.
