Belatucadrus
Some people clearly leave things right up to the last moment, I just tried to see something on the Boots site only to get a message: Quote You're just minutes away! Sorry, lots of people are shopping with us right now but don't worry, you're in a queue to enter our site. You'll be able to shop more great offers in.. 59 minutes ! Which would seem to indicate that there are a shed load of husbands and boyfriends who have left things way way too late and are going to have a truly shitey Christmas New-year break when they try to explain why their other halves haven't received anything on the 25th. Gandalph
Seem's like it Belatucadrus. It's a good job I make sure I've got all mine in by at least seven day's before the event.
catgate
Management and I use a very satisfactory arrangement to cope with this Christmas Present problem. She buys me nothing and in return I buy her the same. We have run the arrangement for many years and it has saved hours of walking up and down town staring wildly into dull, boring shop windows. The only setback is that we have cupboards full of old unused nothing.
Gandalph
Give them to charity catgate. They seem to be always wanting nothing's for Easter, Christmas and so on.
AlanHo
I have just returned from our local Spa shop with some double cream management had forgotten to get. It won't be the same tub she forgot to get - this one will have been from further back on the shelf.

catgate
"Is it still in the original packaging ?" Quote Yes it is, because this way we know precisely were we can find it when needed. We also know where there is a quantity of packaging, which is usually of more use than it's contents (but please keep this information to your self). Belatucadrus
Try auctioning it on eBay, there's always some pillock out there who'll bid on it.
AlanHo
Good idea - nothing to it.
catgate
Well I'm looking forwards to Christmas, when and if it comes.
catgate
Well it came......and thankfully went.......with no trouble. We just moved farther into the cave and pulled the closure rock back into it's position and we had a very restful couple of days. We went out this morning and had a delightful drive round some the Wolds, and found that it seems to have escaped vandalisation. There was virtually no people about with buckets and spades, but this is understandable when the one big thing missing for that on the Wolds Is a lot of water, and another is the less important item of thousands of tons sand. Still ..... it was a nice tootal out and very pleasurable trip.

Be sure to get management to paint some hiro Glyffics to the cave walls so future generations can know what strange species once lived there
catgate
She has not done any really serious wall painting for a few years. She has painted a couple of dogs, but they were more for the benefit of the owners rather than the "Poor Children's Father's Beer Fund". catgate
It takes a cobbler to recognise cobblers.

Belatucadrus
As the grandson of a cobbler I maintain that I have the ability to recognise and talk cobbler down to a fine art it's all in the genes you know.
