Belatucadrus
Motorhead ex “Fast” Eddie Clarke dead at 67 Don't worry andsome I know you've never heard of him and you would really hate the clip so I wouldn't bother if I was you. The last of three total loonies dedicated to musical "Overkill" and rendering as many people deaf as possible.

D4\/!d
That's all of 'em gone now. Plus last year Michael Davies keyboards in Hawkwind DikMik aged
Belatucadrus
Keeping track of Hawkwind Alumni is near impossible there have been too many over the years. I suspect that they'll keep on trucking up to the point Dave Brock pushes up the daisies and even then the Hawklords and the Hawkestra could keep the flame burning. andsome
More strummers who cant play notes.
Belatucadrus
They played all the notes, they even played them in the right order, just not necessarily in an order that you liked. Ultra loud, crass and probably clinically insane but "strummers" Naah man, wrong epithet.
catgate
There seems to be a certain repetition of a few favourite "riffs" and a total avoidance of melody. Beyond that I was quite happy to turn the volume down to silent and wait for it to end.

A decent guitarist can get a good tune out of the instrument by playing notes with both hands, without all the added noise and loud shouting. Gandalph
What you have to remember andsome is that Music comes in many forms. Take Africa for instance (please), nearly all the Music there is drum related Tribal dancing and so on is all based on the banging of drums and jumping up and down and stamping of feet and so on. A bit like Birmingham really. A bit further east nearly all music is Flute based around North Africa and Turkey and other Mediterranean Countries. So, Music over the Centuries hasn't changed all that much. It's just the instruments that have changed slightly. As far as Mahler goes, I blame the bloke who invented the Piano. andsome
Mahler had very little to do with piano music. His earlier career was mainly conducting, before he started to gain recognition as a composer.
