catgate
I think it is time the government issued a directive that all the wild birds in the country, resident or migrant , should be colourful and pretty and left alone to get on with their way of life. I feed them, seeds and suet balls. I buy the suet balls in boxes of 100, they like them so much, that I get through about 200 or more per year. AlanHo
The birds in Solihull seem to shun suet balls - they much prefer lashings of dried meal worms and husked sunflower seeds. Like Solihull residents - they prefer fine food.

AlanHo
I did use the term "suet balls". Staffordshire birds clearly prefer fast food.

andsome
If they had suet balls they would look even worse. Double yuck.
