Monitor too pale

Recommended Posts

Some short time ago,in answer to a query, some kind person posted a program to set up the picture on the screen. It involved pictures of a man in a white shirt, to set contrast and brightness, a series of vertical grey stripes to set green blue and red, and various other settings. Unfortunately I have lost the post. Can someone please point me in the right direction again. I would be very grateful.

This forum is still a wee bit pale, but has always been. Other text is very much improved, and my desktop piccie is as it should be, the grass shown is no longer looking dry, but is much greener.

Presumably this delightful keyboard and monitor were one of the old  gas driven set ups?

If you look at the top of this post catgate you will see the steam boiler used to drive the contraption the Belatucadrus has just posted. It uses Coke for fuel.

The clue is in the name, being so far off the beaten track out in the wildey wildey wilderness these people can not rely on twenty first century technology like electricity. Hence the name of the place reflects what they had to do as an alternative "Burntwood" . This explains the disproportionate popularity of steam computing in the region.

Yes.....it looks as though I have demonstrated  my senility yet again . I think this must be due to my using a CURTA.
