If the system is designed to run at 56kps then that is the maximum it can do - and that only if you're lucky with a following wind. If, and only if, there was any chance of it running faster then the suppliers would quickly put a stop to it.If this thing is so wonderful, why hasn't it been headlines in every IT magazine, journal, newsgroup, flown on a banner from the Sears building in Chicago etc. and so on.Personally I think it's an insult to snake oil. Guest PM Dawn Posted January 26, 2004 Report Share Posted January 26, 2004 if you read the review that is on the website you will see that it works by compressing the requested pages.these pages are requested via the onspeed servers and then sent to your pc.the review states "There is a delay whilst compression takes place...albeit only a second or so" but also "the images and text are very blocky when compression is set to full"therefore if you want decent speeds and proper internet browsing, get broadband.
