Watching News24, they talked about Computer Recycling and how it is becoming a problem.

Printer Cartridges being the main concern!

Read about it here

Sold the old computer and have the ink topped up when they run low. So i'm doing my bit?

Every time I upgrade any PCs all bits not required from the old kit, but worth re-using at all are put aside and eventually (hopefully) filtered down to others.

PS Anyone want any 4MB 30 pin SIMMs ?

Who are these people who will accept old bits of computers as "give aways"? By the time I upgrade, the stuff that I have as surplus is either non functioning rubbish or is totally past being used with the software/hardware etc. that is current. Hence my need to upgrade. What do people do with burned out hard drives, howling fans, dead powerpacks etc.?
